What a wonderful year this has been and none of it would’ve been the same without the class of 2017.
We’ve had tremendous ups and some interesting downs but throughout everything you have shown yourselves to each be individually wonderful.
The best part about being a year 6 teacher is that I get to see you all rise to the challenge of personal goals, I get to see you achieve things you never thought possible, I get to see you form life long friendships as well as becoming what a good friend should be and growing into fine individuals with the world at your feet.
It has and always will be a privilege to have known and taught you all. And to friends and parents, I have no words to display the thanks to you all for your everlasting support and generosity that you give to your children and to us at Parkside.
Burn bright guys, the future is right on your doorsteps.
I had the pleasure of taking our amazingly behaved and super star role models to London at the end of last half term.
We learnt so much and the children that went on the visit were an absolute credit to Parkside!
I also want to say a big thank you to the staff who spent their time with us on the trip – we couldn’t do it without these brilliant people!
Here are some of our snaps!
I would like to say a quick sorry for not posting over the last half term.
We all got a little carried away with SATs preparation!
Speaking of SATS, I have got to say how wonderful year 6 were. Hey have worked so hard ‘this year to prepare for their SATs and it showed in their exams.
They were completely unfazed by the occasion and showing themselves to be so grown up and responsible.
I know that coke July they are all going to be pleased with their results!
In the mean time, we have got one last half term to make the very most of Parkside and believe me it’s going to be a very busy but fun half term indeed!
Year 6 have been sent home with a bundle of Easter revision to help them with their SATs.
SATs begin on he week of 8th May and I know with extra help from their family and friends over the holidays they will get even better!
If you get stuck on any questions comment on this post and I will try to help as much as possible over the holidays.
Do as much as you want but remember it’s all down to you and most importantly have a wonderful holiday!!!
See you safely in the new term
Mrs Cook 😀
