London Trip 2017

I had the pleasure of taking our amazingly behaved and super star role models to London at the end of last half term.

We learnt so much and the children that went on the visit were an absolute credit to Parkside!

I also want to say a big thank you to the staff who spent their time with us on the trip – we couldn’t do it without these brilliant people!

Here are some of our snaps!

Half term blip!

I would like to say a quick sorry for not posting over the last half term.

We all got a little carried away with SATs preparation!

Speaking of SATS, I have got to say how wonderful year 6 were. Hey have worked so hard ‘this year to prepare for their SATs and it showed in their exams.

They were completely unfazed by the occasion and showing themselves to be so grown up and responsible.

I know that coke July they are all going to be pleased with their results!

In the mean time, we have got one last half term to make the very most of Parkside and believe me it’s going to be a very busy but fun half term indeed!

Easter Revision

Year 6 have been sent home with a bundle of Easter revision to help them with their SATs.

SATs begin on he week of 8th May and I know with extra help from their family and friends over the holidays they will get even better!

If you get stuck on any questions comment on this post and I will try to help as much as possible over the holidays.

Do as much as you want but remember it’s all down to you and most importantly have a wonderful holiday!!!

See you safely in the new term

Kieran is always a brilliant role model and works so hard for himself and others round him – well done Kieran!

Chloe really got into the style of Oliver Twist with her fantastic character description and speech.

Pupil and Writer of the Week

Cady is our pupil of the week. She always works hard, gets straight on with tasks and never makes a fuss. She is a brilliant member of our class and is always so happy and polite!

Lee is our writer of the week. He always does very well in writing and so has to really impress to achieve Writer of the Week. He has done just that by creating a fantastic setting description using some amazing vocabulary!
