Homework due in Tuesday 12th June 2018.

I would like you to research a town or city in Mexico or Central America. Some of the things that you could find out are:

What foods do they eat?

What festivals do they have?

What is the weather like?

Are there any famous people from the town or city?

What interesting landmarks do they have?

What traditions do they have?

You can present your research in any way that you wish. However, I do want to see that you have found lots of information and it is of year 6 standard. If you wouldn’t do it at school then it is probably not a high enough standard.

SATs Week Is Over!

Well done to all children in Year 6. You have done yourself and the school proud.

I am so pleased that we have a non-uniform day on Monday because you all attended school this week and nobody was late.

You all showed a great attitude and did your best in the tests and that is all that I could ask of you. Enjoy the weekend you really deserve a break.

SATs

The week that we have been working so hard towards is now here. I hope you’ve had a lovely relaxing weekend and are ready for the week ahead. I know you are all ready to prove how wonderful you are and do yourselves proud by showing the progress you have made in your primary school years.

I found a few inspirational quotes and thought I would share them with you.

Hi Year 6,

I hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend out in the sun. Luckily, you can enjoy another day outside because the school is closed.

However, I would like it if you could do some revision due to the SATs being on Monday.

Pupil of the Week

Well done to Daniel Hill for being Pupil of the Week. All the children in Year 6 have had a tough week completing mock SATs, however Daniel has shown great resilience and given 100% effort this week. This shows he has a good attitude towards learning and wants to do well.
